Objectives/ Goals
To find experts in various fields who are interested in the development of postharvest technology. To support and promote solutions to important problems in postharvest technology, especially in durians, vegetables, and agricultural wastes. To bring together experts in various fields to work on stipulating opinions, recommendations, limitations, and prioritization, as well as, guidelines for the development of postharvest technology and innovation towards the development of joint research project proposals to solve corresponding problems. To enhance the capabilities of experts and researchers, in practical knowledge proficiency by supporting activities to enhance expertise in various fields of the Center of postharvest technology.
Expected benefits
- Access to a knowledge base that incorporates experts and researchers, both domestically and internationally : Access to databases in various fields; research, articles, and important information sources in postharvest technology, including the list of laboratories and research equipment that are associated in the Center of postharvest technology.
- Cooperation in the engagement in research activities (Research Collaboration), network building (Connective Opportunity) and knowledge exchange : Opportunity to collaborate with researchers and scholars, who are interested in postharvest technology, both domestically and internationally, incorporating with other fields of study, including establishment of connections with experts, both in the public and private sectors, in order to determine important guidelines to postharvest technology policy and create high-level impact research programs to introduce them to the country's department of research funding.

Implementation of activities
- Organize a brainstorming meeting to exchange and acquire knowledge and suggestions in various areas, from experts in various fields of study.
- Organize focus group meetings; durian, vegetables, and agricultural waste and to prepare policy proposals and research programs to submit to research funding sources.
- Support the development potential of experts and researchers.
- Activities to support the publication of academic works on the international level.
- Activities to support the presentation of academic work abroad.
- Support short-term training domestically and abroad.
- Support enhancement of laboratories to meet standards.
- Organize activities to promote the establishment of cooperative networks, both domestically and abroad.
- Promote network building by inviting foreign experts.
- Promote network building by organizing national and international academic conferences.
- Organize activities to transfer knowledge within the expert group.
- Support academic conference activities; training/seminars domestically and abroad.
- Prepare documents to disseminate knowledge about durian, in the form of physical copies (Monograph).
